Andrey Timofeev
Research Assistant Professor of Economics- Biography
Andrey Timofeev is a Research Associate with the International Center for Public Policy and a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, both at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University (Atlanta, USA). He has worked on public sector reforms in over a dozen of countries since he was first recruited by Georgia State University in 1999 for the USAID Fiscal Reform Project in the Russian Federation. Over the last fifteen years he has been engaged in numerous technical assistance and capacity building projects on budgeting, fiscal decentralization, and tax policy. He has managed and delivered training as part of various capacity building programs, including the Andrew Young School’s Public Policy Summer Training Courses and country-specific training courses.
